Born and Raised in Las Vegas, NV.
I keep relating my experience in DJing to the nightlife the way I saw them. The most fun I had was with DJ sets that were influenced by the environment and how DJs could adapt to it. A DJ needs to know what he's up against, and how to get the crowd involved.

My first real moment was when I got tasked with DJing at our club's 1999-2000 New Year's Eve celebration. No pressure, right? I was just the lighting guy who wanted to multitask (and have fun, of course!). How hard could it be with party anthems like DJ Kool's "Let Me Clear My Throat" and Darude's "Sandstorm"? I was nervous, but I knew I could get the party going!
