Born and Raised in Las Vegas, NV.
I keep relating my experience in DJing to the nightlife scene and how I experienced it. Some of the most fun I’ve had behind the decks came from DJ sets that were influenced by the environment around me—where I had to adapt to the room, the crowd, and the energy of the night.
A DJ needs to know what he’s up against, read the crowd, and understand how to get people involved. It’s not just about playing music; it’s about knowing when to push, when to pull back, and how to create an experience that connects with the people in front of you.

My first real moment came when I was tasked with DJing our club’s 1999–2000 New Year’s Eve celebration. No pressure, right?
I was just the lighting guy who wanted to multitask—and have some fun, of course! How hard could it be with party anthems like DJ Kool’s “Let Me Clear My Throat” and Darude’s “Sandstorm” in my arsenal?
I was nervous, but I also knew I could get the party going. That night, I was about to find out if I was right.
